OverviewTwenty/Twenty is the new business mentoring programme from the DBA. Utilising the wisdom and vision of design industry pioneers found within the DBA’s membership, the programme inspires a new wave of leaders to make better informed decisions about their businesses, their people and themselves. Supported by Arts Council England Cultural Leadership Programme, this innovative programme pairs rising leaders in design with one of the leading lights of the design industry. Mentors and mentees are trained and supported by the DBA during a 12 month programme. Through 1-2-1 meetings, the mentor’s role is to listen, share experience, provide a sounding board for ideas and ultimately help the mentee to define their goals and grow their business. “This industry has been very good to me over the years and it’s time for me to give something back. There has never been a more exciting, yet challenging, time for design. Now, more than ever, there is the need for strong leadership. The emphasis is very much on personal growth and an investment in the development of leaders; the focus of the scheme isn’t about addressing issues and problems, but rather unlocking the potential in those businesses and individuals who are already achieving.” Would you like to find out more?Click here to listen to Emily Cosgrove from Clutterbuck Associates, the UK’s foremost experts on mentoring, tell you more about the power of mentoring and why you should get involved in Twenty/Twenty.
